Scope:

 

The scope of the evaluation was to ascertain the fuel saving in  calculating the efficiency of the low voltage, low level OmniDEL electric binlift v’s the OmniDEL hydraulic variant.

The evaluation was conducted at a customer site, in a municipal council environment.

The study consisted of  a collection period of 2 weeks, changing then the binlift variant for a further 2 week evaluation.

Methodology:

 

  • Vehicle Mileage inclusive of container collection data has been obtained utilising OEM ‘Connected Services’.
  • Fuel data and mileage has been received from the customers automated refuelling station & was cross analysed to validate accuracy.
  • Weigh bridge information was also provided by the Council.
