HR Administrator (Absence)

Role: HR Administrator (Absence & Wellbeing)

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE - Hybrid working, 3 days in office, 2 days from home (one of which is a Friday)

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday 

 

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about employee wellbeing? We’re looking for a proactive and resilient HR Administrator to join the Wellbeing & Absence HR team in Warwick!

This role is predominantly administrative, with a strong focus on managing health surveillance processes and supporting employee wellbeing through meticulous data handling and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update spreadsheets and databases related to employee absence and health surveillance.
  • Coordinate health surveillance appointments and manage associated diaries and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for occupational health referrals, welfare calls, and capability meetings.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of wellbeing initiatives and educational campaigns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and record-keeping in line with HR policies.
  • Support general HR administration tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong administrative background, ideally within an HR setting.
  • Experience managing spreadsheets, databases, and diary systems with precision.
  • Familiarity with health surveillance processes and absence management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Confident communicator with a calm and empathetic approach.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
